This page will feature knives that I have accumulated lover the years primarily thru taking them in trade for down payments and trades with other knifemakers. If this is successful, I have lots more. Hope you see something you like.
This is a knife made by Alan Bloomer of Maquon Illinois I don't know if Alan is still active as a knifemaker. The blade is 2 1/4" long and the knife is 5 3/4" long overall. I believe the steel is 440C as are the bolsters. The scales are gold lip pearl. No sheath. Price is $125.
This is a knife made by Dick Atkinson, a Florida knifemaker. I don't believe that Dick is actively making knives anymore. This knife was given to me many years ago and it is the fanciest Atkinson I have ever seen. I believe the blade to be made of 440C and it features a little file work and has a tapered tang. The blade is 3" long and the knife is 6 1/2" overall. It has red fiber liners under the pink mother of pearl scales. This would be a rare find for a collector of Atkinson knives. No Sheath. Price is $250.
This knife was made by Theuns Prinsloo, a knifemaker in South Africa. I aquired this knife thru a trade with Theuns at the Blade show several years ago. The knife is beautifully decorated with his engraving of the blade and locking bar with depictions of native africans and animals both inside and out. The titanium liners are anodized to a rose color and have been fileworked. The blade is made of 1080 high carbon steel and has a hamon. The scales are lightning strike carbon fiber and an additional set of georgeous red and white scales (with screws) is provided. Price is $850.

in This is a 1981 Cripple Creek L1-10 which I bought from Bob Cargill at the Chicago knife show held in the Engineers Hall in 1981 or 1982. He provided me with a box which originally held 3 knives in the L1-10 series. I wish I had bought all thee as that set is currently valued at around $2,500. You can buy this one for $400.
